These photographs were taken when we were flying out of Tokyo. We were flying at an altitude of 37000 feet.On this day we also had a strong head wind of approximately 160 nauticle miles per hour. Because of this we were flying a little slow ,at about 780 Km/Hr.This slow speed helped me to click these series of pictures. Please note in these pictures one will be able to see that a huge chunk of ice displaced on the eastern side of the mount Fuji. This could have been an avalanche of great proportion.
